Penelope Pussycat is first seen in a Merrie Melody, Cock of the Walk, as Pepe Le Pew is seen hitting on her. By the look of her face, It didn't seem like she was enjoying it. However, in her third appearance, Christmas Rules, Pepe was sitting with her by the fire place and even kisses her, and she was smiling.

• Strangely, she seemed to enjoy being kissed by Pepe, when he kissed her in Christmas Rules.
• She, along with the other characters, got a redesign for the second season. In her season 1 appearance, (Cock of the Walk and Skunk Funk) she had whiskers and a pink nose. In her new season 2 appearance (Christmas Rules) she had no whiskers, a black nose, purple eyelids, and she now has eyelashes.
