The Royal Oaks Glen Oaks Oakwood Oaks Country Club (or the R.O.G.O.O.O.C.C. as the members call it) is the city country club featured in The Looney Tunes Show. The ROGOOOCC has a golf area, tennis court, weight room and swimming pool.

Appearances[]

Members Only[]

Daffy walks inside the club to look around and is promptly asked for a membership number by the receptionist. After getting caught in his lie, he's asked to leave. Daffy hears another patron give there membership number - 1673 - as he leaves. After waiting for the receptionists to switch shifts, he goes back in, uses the number and is able to get in.

Daffy quickly makes friends with several of the older women of the club, and later brings Bugs into the club to play tennis. The two are interrupted when Lola's balls fly over the court and start bouncing off Bugs' head. The two then meet and go out together. Their date and subsequent interactions drive Bugs crazy in annoyance. At their next date at the club, Bugs crossdresses as a woman in an attempt to trick Lola to break it off with him, but this only encourages her. He then has lunch with her and her parents, Patricia and Walter Bunny. After Bugs accidentally "proposes", Walter announces their engagement to the club. Lola decides to hold their wedding at the club and hires Pepé Le Pew to arrange it.

The wedding eventually takes place at the country club. Before Bugs can object to the marriage, Lola objects and declares her love for the wedding planner. The two then run off together, but not too long before Daffy is exposed for stealing his membership number, which incidentally is the number belonging to Walter. Daffy then gets a job selling mints in the club's bathroom to pay off his debt.

Father Figures[]

Bugs and Lola play tennis once more at the club, with Lola being unable to serve correctly after several dozen tries. The two have lunch together until Patricia takes Lola to get pedicures - but not before Lola takes a giant bite of Bugs' sandwich. Bugs then runs into Walter, who invites him to compete together for the Royal Oaks Glen Oaks Oakwood Oaks Father and Son Tennis Tournament. Bugs notes that the two aren't biologically related, but Walter ensures that the two are at heart. The two agree and Walter leaves Bugs alone - taking the sandwich with him.

After weeks of "training", Bugs and Walter attend the tennis tournament at the club. Realizing how horrible Walter's gameplay is, Bugs instructs him to get out of the way and let him play. Their strategy proves effective and the two make finals. They soon discover that they'll be competing against the also-non-related duo, Foghorn and Daffy. The two argue before settling it in court. The match is very close, but is cut short when Foghorn is attacked by Henery the chickenhawk, and is driven to the hospital.

Trivia[]

  • According to Daffy, the club has a swimming pool, though it's only mentioned, not seen.
  • Pepe, Lola and Lola's parents, Walter and Patricia, all made their debut appearances here.
  • This is the place where Bugs and Lola first met.
  • Membership-numbers at the ROGOOOCC apparently need at least four digits, since Walter's number is 1673 while Daffy unsuccessfully tried getting into the club by giving "1" and then "2" as his membership numbers.
  • The club has at least three receptionists (one man and two women). The first receptionist that Daffy encountered was the only one who realized that Daffy wasn't actually a member at the club.
  • There's a mall called the " Royal Oaks Glen Oaks Oakwood Oaks Mall" in the city where Bugs and Daffy lives,
